Marsabit Central OCPD Abel Sande was found dead
on the evening of Christmas Day in his house in Marsabit town.
Eastern region police commander Gideon Amalla

He said he was found dead
in his bed.
A postmortem will be carried out but officers who did not want to be named said they suspected a heart attack.
