Trans Nzoia nurses have asked the county government to supply medical equipment and drugs on time.

The nurses union branch secretary Willy Sifuna said nurses cannot perform well when there is a problem of supplies.

He urged patients to seek services in all hospitals and health centres after an agreement with the government to end the strike last week.

“Let our patients know that we have suspended our strike and we have reported to work, they should come for treatment," Sifuna said.

Governor Patrick Khaemba said his administration has bought Sh29 million drugs to be delivered soon.

He warned health officials against selling the drugs.
