Outgoing IEBC chair Isaac Hassan's driver Ahmed Hussein has been charged before a Kibera court alongside an AP officer Mohammed Makorane with human trafficking.

It is alleged that they were jointly planning to use Hassan's vehicle, GKB 339 M to transport aliens from Garrisa to Eastleigh Nairobi on November 23, 2016.

The two are said to have committed the crime at the IEBC headquarters, Anniversary towers.

The prosecution asked for more time to conclude on investigations.

Appearing before Senior Principal Magistrate Elizabeth Juma, the two denied the charges and were released on a bond of Sh500,000.

The case will be heard on March 27, 2017.
