Police fired teargas to disperse protesters on Moi Avenue, Nairobi on Monday.

The group, working under the slogan #TakeBackKenya, had gathered near Tom Mboya statue.

Three people were arrested in the protest

meant to denounce corruption in the country.

The resilient protesters rushed to Jeevanjee Gardens where it was reported they planned another march through the city.

The group are up in arms against what they termed 'daily plundering of public funds by government officials' through corruption.
