should fold his Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement and join Jubilee as it is confusing people, Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko has said.
Sonko said during
President Uhuru Kenyatt's tour of Tawa town, Makueni county, that so many politicians have ditched their parties for Jubilee, for the sake of unity.
“Mr President, so many leaders who ditched Wiper and joined Jubilee so that we speak with one voice. We do not want other parties within Jubilee to confuse people,” he said on Wednesday.
“So Governor Mutua, if you are branded a Jubilee mole then you have to make a decision and join the party that is uniting Kenyans under the leadership of Uhuru and DP William Ruto."
Mutua, who was elected on a Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper party ticket, said he will seek re-election under his movement.
He said the outfit will field candidates for all elective positions except that of the President.
MCC is a "paradigm" to accelerate development in the counties, Mutua said after launching it, adding that the movement will help tackle the problems that have kept Kenya underdeveloped for years.
"Maendeleo Chap Chap is a paradigm for speeding people-centred projects," he said

cautioned leaders against divisive politics.
Wiper defectors including MPs Kisoi Munyao (Mbooni), Regina Ndambuki (Kilome), Rachael Nyamai (Kitui South) and Katemi Makenga (Kaiti), and former Tip Tip leader Kalembe Ndile took part in the tour.
