Irish hold centennary celebrations in Kenya

The Irish community in Kenya marked the country's centenary existence to Kenya. The celebration witnessed the visitation of the Ireland minister of diaspora and overseas development Joe McHugh attend the event held at the National Museum of Kenya. Also present at the event was Margaret Kenyatta,Kenya's first lady among many others.

The Irish sisters were also recognized for their milestone contribution in Kenya's education system through the Loreto schools among many others.
