Claims by Raila Odinga that the show that he senses defeat, Jubilee MPs have said.

Led by Garissa MP Aden Duale, they said the opposition is undermining the smooth preparation of elections with allegations that IEBC intends to rig the polls.

"Even before IEBC starts preparations for the elections, [Raila] has started talking about rigging of elections. We are asking him to tell us if he wants to run IEBC or run for elections," Duale said on Monday.

He said Raila cannot be a presidential candidate and be in charge of the electoral commission at the same time.

Nairobi woman rep Rachel Shebesh said the opposition leader should tell Kenyans what he wants because he seems he doesn't even trust his own lieutenants.

"Tell us what you are hiding under the table because we negotiated with your people including [Siaya Senator] James Orengo and [Suna East MP] Junet Mohammed (on areas of reforms required in IEBC) but you still have issues," she said.

They were speaking at a function presided over by DP William Ruto in Garissa town.

Ruto described Raila as a person who blames his tools after failing to accomplish a task.

"Sometimes it is so hard to understand why our competitors in Cord are backtracking on an agreement of reforms agreed on the commission," he added.

He asked leaders to desist from inciting the public against the commission.
