Six suspects have been arrested and 3,700 rolls of bhang worth Sh 80, 000 confiscated at Milimani estate in Maralal, Samburu County.
The six suspects, one woman and five men were arrested on Sunday afternoon a tip off from the members of the public.
Samburu Central OCPD Abagaro Guyo said members of the public became suspicious after they spotted a known drug peddler getting in and out of a house carrying Nigerian bags on several occasions.
"My officers found seven people in a house repackaging bhang into rolls and arrested them," said Abagaro.
The six suspects are currently being held at Maralal police station waiting to be arraigned in court on Monday.
The police boss lauded the members of the public for their support in fighting drugs, urging them to continue helping the police with any useful information.
