Manual submission of motor vehicle ownership will not be allowed next year, the National Transport and Safety Authority has said.

NTSA director general Francis Meja yesterday said services such as motor vehicle registration, inspection booking and transfer of ownership have been taken to the Transport Integrated Management Systems.

Other services that have been taken to TIMS are record search, driver licence record search, issuance of driving licence, renewal of driving licence and application of road service licences.

Meja urged car owners, companies, vehicle dealers and financial institutions to create their profiles on the Transport Integrated Management Systems by December 31.

“Persons holding onto the transfer forms (Form C) are required to submit them to the nearest NTSA offices for processing,” Meja said in a statement.

“From January 1 next year, NTSA will not accept any manual submission of transfer of ownership applications.”

To create a profile, one has to log in to the NTSA website: www.ntsa.go.ke or send an email to [email protected]. NTSA can also be reached through its App that can be downloaded from Google Play Store.
