A 15 year old girl who was allegedly raped by a county driver in Nakuru scored 168 marks in the just released 2016 KCPE results.
"Results are out and our child has performed poorly because of the trauma she underwent while sitting for the exam," her guardian said on Friday.
The female guardian also said that the girl had no confidence with the way the Molo court is conducting the rape case.
"We suspect that the accused might have colluded with the court to deny the child justice. During the hearing on 25th last month, witnesses from the victim's side were not given a chance to testify. They were also ordered to appear for DNA test in a concealed place," she said.
The girl got: English 38, Maths 39, Social Studies 28, Science 28 and 35 in Kiswahili totaling to 168 marks.
The girl sat for the exam when her baby boy was only three weeks old.
The orphan girl was sponsored by a catholic nun based in Kisumu.
She studied at Keringet Boarding but had registered at Keringet Township Primary.
She has been under the guardianship of a relative after the death of her mother five years ago.
