Guyo's remarks about Ayisi are an attack on Luhya community, says Aladwa

ODM Nairobi chairman George Aladwa has warned Governor Evans Kidero against firing his county secretary, saying such a decision "would amount to political suicide".

Aladwa made the remarks after Nairobi MCAs threatened to halt county business if Kidero does not sack Robert Ayisi.

But Aladwa said on Thursday: "If they remove Ayisi from the seat, it would not be business as usual. It will jeopardise our community voting come next year."

Aladwa also said Guyo's remarks about Ayisi amounts to working at City Hall, adding "we will not allow this to happen".

He appealed to ODM leader Raila Odinga to summon the Cord leadership at the assembly to restore order in the house.
