The race for Nakuru governor might be between incumbent Kinuthia Mbugua (pictured) and former NTSA chairman Lee Kinyanjui. The two have been campaigning actively across the county.

Other hopefuls, Senator James Mungai and former Naivasha MP John Mututho, are yet to start campaigns. Two weeks ago, Mbugua met members of the Akorino community in Nakuru town, where they pledged to support him.
