Kenyans will know the new chairman and members of the IEBC on November 30 as the selection

panel has given itself 36 days to finish recruitment.

The team led by former PS Bernadette Musundi will place an advertisement for applications on October 24 and give interested parties a period of 14 days to send their submissions.

The panel will then undertake a long listing of all the applicants and their qualifications, which will be published for public scrutiny.

It will publish the list of shortlisted applicants on November 15 and collect

public views on their suitability for a period of seven days.

Interviews will be carried out from November 22 to 26.

The team will then send the names to President Uhuru Kenyatta who will forward them to Parliament for vetting and approval.
