Nominated Senator Emma Mbura (pictured) yesterday opposed the alleged plan to set up a dry port in Naivasha. She told the Star on the phone that transferring the port from Mombasa to Nakuru makes no sense and will hurt the Coast economy.
Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and Bungoma Senator Boni Khalwale have termed the plan “an economic sabotage of the Coast region”.
