Opposition leader Raila Odinga has asked former IEBC commissioners to exit from office saying "their time is up and should wait no longer."
Raila was referring to the claims by the commissioners that they will hand over ones new commissioners assume office.
"They have been paid but
they
are still there...there is no business saying they are waiting to hand
over
to the incoming commissioners," Raila said.
Addressing youths in Kisii on Saturday, Raila said the commissioners should have left after the president declared
the seats vacant.

"They are worried ... and that is why they are trying to do what they are trying to do... Kenyans will not tolerate another rigging," Raila said.
The team of the outgoing nine includes chairman Issack Hassan, vice chairperson Lilian Mahiri-Zaja, Thomas Letangule, Muthoni Wangai and Mohamed Alwai.
Others are Abdullahi Sharawe, Yusuf Nzibo, Kule Galma and Albert Bwire.

but asked Uhuru to allow them to remain in office until the new team is hired.
The commissioners struck a deal with the government on September 30, when they said they will stay in office to prevent a power vacuum and a consequent constitutional crisis.

The team agreed to resign on August 3, ending several months of tumultuous political confrontation and violent demonstrations.
But they had
over attempts to kick them out.
State House Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua, who led exit package negotiations, praised them for reaching the deal.
