ODM rebels who appeared before the party's disciplinary committee on Friday have accused leader Raila Odinga of mismanagement.

They said Raila has denied them their democratic right to make decisions

Some of the rebels, including MPs Kubai Iringo (Igembe Central) and Isaac Mwaura (Nominated) said they cannot vie on ODM tickets in 2017.

"Vying under ODM is like selling pork to Muslims," they said, adding that their areas are "Jubilee-bound".

The rebels also cited unfair party nominations in 2013, when they had to be given certificates through the court.

They accused ODM of dishonesty, saying Raila and the party have also been receiving defectors.
