MP wants chief punished for stabbing girl

Bungoma woman representative Reginalda Wanyonyi (above) wants police to take stern action against Samoya assistant chief Alice Wasike, who is accused of stabbing a form four student in a love triangle.

Wasike is said to have stabbed Mercy Wafula, 21, of Samoya Secondary School for allegedly having an affair with her husband. Wasike, who tried to commit suicide, and Wafula are at the Bungoma Referral Hospital.
