The body of 21 year-old quarry worker who went missing one week ago was found hanging in a bush at Karate village, Naivasha.

The body, which had badly decomposed, was discovered by herdsmen after a search mission to trace the man proved futile.

Peter Kamau, a resident, said the herdsmen alerted residents who arrived at the scene.

"We did not find any suicide note. It is not clear whether the young man decided to commit suicide or it was a case of murder," he said.

Police in Naivasha collected the body for postmortem at the county referral hospital's mortuary.

The police asked residents or anyone with information that can help in the investigation to share with them.
