Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana yesterday accused speaker Stephen Ngelu of colluding with MCAs to sabotage projects.

He said Ngelu is acting like a “mentally disturbed fellow”, adding that the speaker lacks vision.

Kibwana called for the speaker’s sacking and urged MCAs to work as a team for the sake of development.

The governor spoke in Wote town on Thursday during a meeting with people living with disabilities from the six sub-counties in Makueni.

When contacted for comment yesterday, Ngelu dismissed the sabotage claims and told the governor to go to court if he has evidence.

He said Makueni has lagged behind in development because of misunderstandings between the governor and ward representatives.

Ngelu said Kibwana should focus on projects.
