German Ambassador Jutta Frasch has said private sector development and promotion of renewable energy is key for Kenya’s future.
She said negotiations have been going on between the two countries to determine better ways of promoting Kenya’s development agenda and renewable energy, specifically solar.
Frasch said the agenda for the 2017-18 cooperation between Kenya and Germany will focus on agriculture and renewable energy.
She spoke in Kakamega town on Tuesday when she launched the first Mobisol shop in Kenya. Mobisol Group is a leading German company in solar energy.
