Three Uasin Gishu county employees have been arrested for stealing and reselling drugs meant for public hospitals.
This comes as Kenya National Union of Nurses called off its planned strike in the county and warned members against theft. Chairman John Bii (pictured) said the strike is no longer necessary.
County secretary Peter Lelei said the county faces problems in distributing drugs due to corrupt employees. He said the culprits will be punished.
