Four people died on Sunday while six others were injured after a matatu overturned on Langata road, Nairobi.

County police commander told the Star that the matatu driver was speeding and lost control of the vehicle.

He said that the number of people in the vehicle at the time of the accident was yet to be established.

"It is not clear how many people were in the matatu," Koome said.

"Four people sustained serious injuries while two others suffered slight injuries," he said.

The police commander said the injured were rushed to hospital.
