Six suspects have been arrested after kidnapping an aide to former Ntonyiri MP Maoka Maore in Nairobi city centre on Thursday.
The PA was
kidnapped and taken to
unknown location where the suspects demanded a Sh500,000 ransom.
Police said
his relatives had sent Sh200,000 when police intercepted and rescued him from the men.
The suspects withdrew
Sh156,000 and were moving to an Mpesa shop for a transaction in Embakasi area when they were trailed and intercepted, police said.
The suspects are expected in Makadara law courts on Friday to face robbery and kidnapping charges.
