Amani leader Musalia Mudavadi will camp in Nandi county this weekend to popularise his presidential bid.
He will also tour Bungoma county to bolster ANC as “the best choice for Kenyans caught up in the uncertainty of the Jubilee merger and Cord nominations”.
Mudavadi said the two were "closed shops" for aspirants but that his coalition offers a soft landing for those fearful of unfair nominations and those who believe in multiparty democracy.
“ANC is open and all those who desire tickets have until the end of October to register with the party," he said on Friday.

The politician's Nandi visit comes amid disquiet among residents about Jubilee's viability, especially after nominations.
“We must build parties that unite Kenyans willingly and not political machines where some people will be forced to toe the line," he said.
Mudavadi will receive more than
24 MCAs who were members of New Ford Kenya and URP in
Bungoma on Sunday.
The ward representatives opted to join ANC
after their parties were dissolved to form Jubilee Party.
He will also
officially open Amani National Coalition's Bungoma county office.
In 2013, the United Democratic Front, under Mudavadi, got seven elected MCAs out of a total of 30 in the Nandi county assembly.
Mudavadi will also meet Nandi opinion leaders before proceeding to the funeral of Reverend Kevolwe Osotsi who was father to Kiptuyia MCA
Geoffrey Kevolwe.
His visit came as Raila Odinga's ODM party
postponed its rally in Eldoret to next Saturday.
ODM leaders in the area said they had booked 64 Stadium where Raila will hold a rally on October 1.
“Preparations for the rally are complete. We are now mobilising residents to turn up in large numbers," said ODM secretary for devolution Kipkorir Menjo.
Mombassa Governor Hassan Joho had announced that ODM would hold the rally on Saturday but Menjo said his itinerary changed.
The Cord leader will attend a service at Segero SDA church before addressing road side meetings on the way to the stadium in Eldoret town.
The visit will be his first in more than a year, to the region that is Deputy President William Ruto's backyard.
