Governor Josephat Nanok is likely to pick Turkana Central MP John Lodepe as his running mate. Lodepe is the only MP among the six in the county who is closely working with the governor.
Deputy Governor Peter Ekai has joined MPs opposing him. Speaking in Kalokol on Saturday, Nanok accused Ekai of undermining his authority.
