Sh110 billion. The amount of fake currency two Congolese nationals were allegedly found in possession of in Nairobi.

The two will apply for bail for a second time in November after Chief Magistrate Daniel Ogembo allowed them to make an application for bail afresh. Mohammed Sani alias Dr Mustafa and Ousman Ibrahim Bako's first application for bail was denied after the court heard that the accused are foreigners thus a flight risk. The prosecution also opposed bail on grounds that the offence is of serious nature. Ogembo yesterday also read out the ruling by High Court judge Luka Kimaru who ordered that the matter be concluded within six months.
