There was a steady stream of clientele at Mingles Liquor Emporium in Westlands, with everyone eager to try out the brand new wine – Sunkissed Natural Sweet Rose – specially imported from South Africa.
The store owner, Irene Tapin, explained the concept behind the once a month wine tasting affair at the emporium launched on Friday.
She commented on the uniqueness of the shop, with a large, open area, quite unlike the normal type of liquor store, with a closed off grill window.
Irene also emphasised on the fact that they do deliveries in the Westlands area, a first of its kind in the neighbourhood as well as encouraging buyers to sit at the store.
