[Video] Romain Virgo coming to Kenya is a "dream"!

Jamaican singer Romain Virgo is super excited about his maiden trip to Nairobi, Kenya.

The reggae, dance-hall and lovers rock aficionado will be in town for a concert on September 24.

In a video interview, Romain said, "We cannot wait, we are excited and it is killing us," he said, "Would love to get into a flight right now and come to Kenya and perform for the people."

The star who aced the cover for Sam Smith's Stay With Me

says coming to Kenya is a "dream" come true.

"We are coming to Kenya with a team, a band. This is the first time, which is a big deal for us. We will make sure, we make this trip a memorable one," Romain said, "It is my dream to come to Africa. This is the right time."

He continued, "It is a blessing. In reality, it is my home. I always dream of coming to the mother land and get a feel of how it feels to be home. His popular hit, Love Sick has grabbed the attention of many a fans from across the globe."

The star will be in Kenya for 6 days after his Zimbabwe concert. He jets in September 19, ahead of the September 24 concert at KICC. Kenya singer Viviane has been announced as one of the acts who will join Romain on stage. The others include Frankie Dee Kenya, Aguto McGhetto and Weekend Warriors.

Advance tickets go for Ksh 1000, at the gate Kshs 1500. VIP advance tickets go for Kshs 3000 and at the gate Kshs 3500.
