The state should cancel the tender of a contractor who has been working on the 25km Makomboki-Gatiaini road

for four years,

Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau.

He said Lee Construction Company has been punishing his constituents by failing to complete the road. The tender was awarded in 2012.

Kamau said the state should advertise the tender afresh.

He spoke during an inspection tour of projects in his constituency on Monday.

In April, Transport CS James Macharia threatened to deregister contractors who do shoddy work so they do not get more contracts with the government.
