Police are holding a KDF soldier, an ex-soldier and three other civilians for allegedly selling explosives in Lang’ata, Nairobi.

Materials believed to be used in making the explosives were recovered in an operation targeting the suspected criminals.

Police said those arrested wanted to sell the materials to undercover detectives in Otiende.

They took the seizure for analysis and the suspects for interrogation by the Anti-Terror Police Unit.

Langata police officers did not answer phone calls for comment.
