Knut secretary general Wilson Sossion's scathing attacks on the state have caused fears in Jubilee. He held a series of meetings in Rift Valley last week and urged residents to reconsider their support for Jubilee.

At one of the meetings in Deputy President William Ruto’s backyard in Eldoret, Sossion left a church congregation surprised when he listed the government’s failures and said residents should not support Jubilee on the basis of their tribe.

“To say the truth which you all know, under the jubilee government poverty levels have increased. The ordinary mwananchi is suffering and its across board regardless of your tribe”, said Sossion.

MCAs present led by Stephen Chemalan asked Sossion to go slow and give jubilee time to implement its development plans.

"There could be challenges but in general jubilee is doing very well", said Chemalal.

But Sossion said economic problems created by Jubilee will catch up with all Kenyans including leaders.
