Legendary South African Jazz musician Hugh Masekela was the star attraction of the evening as his much awaited performance at the Safaricom Jazz Lounge finally went down at the Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi on Friday.
The stage was warmed up by Mwai and the Truth with an electric performance that cheered up the crowd.
Then Nairobi Horns Project followed suit with a breathtaking show.

The event was hosted by voice coach and jazz singer Kavutha Asiyo.
Performing for almost three hours, Hugh played some of his mega hits including Stimela, Chileshe, Grazing in the Grass among many others.
