"They were arrested at Kanduyi while selling the items they had stolen after members of the public became suspicious and informed us," said Kangala.

They were found with electronics including speakers, car batteries, utensils, clothing, furniture, television sets, radios and mobile phones.

‘’We have recovered valuables estimated to be worth more than Sh100,000 stolen from residents since last Friday," the officer said and noted the suspects did not have weapons.

He said the three will be charged with theft once investigations are completed.
