First Lady Margaret Kenyatta has urged county governments to improve maternal healthcare facilities.
She said all women in the country should deliver in clean and well equipped health facilities to end the maternal deaths.
Speaking during the launch of the 44th beyond Zero Mobile clinic in Tana River county she told Kenyans to stop retrogressive cultures and put more emphasis on education in order to uplift the standards of health.
Before the launch Mrs. Kenyatta visited the Hola Level Four referral Hospital, the First Lady and taken through the Pediatric, Maternity and Radiology sections before laying a foundation stone for the new Maternal and Child Health (MCH) wing.
