Kenyan Archer Shehzana Anwar will lead team Kenya during Friday’s opening ceremony of the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

She will become the first archer to lead team Kenya during Olympic Games.

Shehzan earned a slot in the Olympics games after winning Gold during the Africa qualifiers held in Namibia. Since then she has embarked in series of training activities including a one month training camp in Turkey.

Shehzan will step into action on Friday at around 7pm in the women’s round of ranking where archers shoot 72 arrows at a distance of 70 meters.

The overall highest score is 720.
