The DPP said that the agency will ensure institutions work together towards a common purpose.

He was speaking in Naivasha when he officially opened the training and capacity building workshop for county Multi Agency teams.

Tobiko said they were carrying out test cases to prevent organised crime.

He said the government has worked on the agency's funding framework, of which 281 officers have so far been trained.

“We are now employing tax inquiries and laws to net these criminals and their assets and this has been done through the collaboration we have as a team,” he said.

Tobiko asked the officers will be stationed at the devolved units to establish mechanisms to fight corruption at the county level.

“We hope that you will serve to bring greater cooperation at your individual levels in the counties to enhance information sharing and generate solutions to common challenges,” he said.
