The ASME Innovation Showcase (ISHOW) is a global competition for hardware-led ventures. It focuses on the design and engineering journey of taking physical products to market. They held a cocktail on Thursday night at the Golden Tulip hotel, Westlands to crown the

winner of the 2016 Kenya edition.

Patrick Kariuki emerged tops for his Banza Toilets innovation. They are designed to be an in-home unit providing families with safe, dignified and accessible toilets.

Kenya is one of the three countries where the competition is held. Others are USA and India.
