President Uhuru Kenyatta has concluded his three-day working visit in North Eastern region with a call for peace and unity.
Addressing a public rally at Garissa primary school, Uhuru urged residents to be vigilant and cooperate with security agencies in ensuring peace and security.
He said no development can be realized without security.
Responding to issues raised by the leaders from the region, Uhuru urged the county government to work with village elders in vetting the youth to ensure genuine Kenyans get identity cards.
“Kenyans have a right to be issued with Identity cards,” he said.
