IEBC, MPs to discuss referendum law

The IEBC meets the National Assembly Justice and Legal Affairs Committee today to discuss the proposed referendum law.

The proposed law is currently under review by the Kenya Law Reform Commission and its enactment will detail how future referendum processes are conducted. “The referendum law is currently in the hands of the Kenya Law Reform Commission. The proposed workshop for May 20 will be in Mombasa,” an update from the commission read.
