Opposition leader Raila Odinga has urged Kenyans to shun tribalism and unite to remove the Jubilee administration, which has made life unbearable for citizens. He said Jubilee is tribalistic and has sidelined certain regions like Mt Elgon.

Raila urged residents to vote for Cord to get rid of the tribalism monster. Speaking on Sunday at Kapsokwony Seventh Day Adventist Church during a funds drive, Raila said the taxpayer money the Jubilee administration has stolen can be spent till "Jesus returns".

He said the opposition is ready to steer the nation to greater heights and redeem it from the woes and pains caused by Jubilee. He questioned the whereabouts of Sh140 billion Eurobond money. The cash they have stolen is a lot and we are wondering where they have taken this money because it's abnormal for all that cash to go missing without valid explanations," Raila said.

He said the Jubilee administration is using every trick in the book to show itself clean but this is proving difficult. He said the administration has sunk Kenya into debt and even an unborn child has a debt of Sh75,000 on its head. Raila joked that at this rate unborn children will be afraid to come into this world, where only debts await them.

He said Jubilee leaders have sold this country and they should not be given another chance to lead this country. ''We want to forget this issue of this is my blood, oh this is my clan, which is not helping us, so that come next year August we have fresh leadership that our people have been yearning for without the notion of whom do you know, who are you and where do you come from before you are assisted," he said.

Raila said Cord is ready for meaningful dialogue and it will continue to pressure the IEBC to vacate office because Kenyans have lost faith in it. ''Those who will come with sweets, chicken, maize just eat it and know where to place your votes because what you will be eating after all is what they have stolen from you,'' he said. Raila was accompanied by area MP John Serut and former assistant minister Alfred Khangati.
