Narc Kenya has joined , saying the current commissioners must pave way for a new team that Kenyans have faith in.
In a statement on Friday, secretary general Ambrose Nzombo said the commissioners’ failure to resign will land the country into “deeper and unwanted crisis, apprehension, and instability".
“We are particularly concerned with the insensitivity, lack of urgency, and arrogance in IEBC's response to the unfolding crisis,” he said.
The secretary general said there is consensus among key stake holders, including the opposition parties, the faith community, workers and some members of the ruling Jubilee Coalition that the commission should not oversee next year’s polls.

Nzombo said there is continued lack of political goodwill to resolve issues surrounding the legitimacy and institutional preparedness of the IEBC for the 2017 general elections.
“Leadership is about accountability to the people of Kenya," he added.
Cord and religious leaders have also called for the disbandment of IEBC saying the agency cannot be trusted with the next years elections.
Police leaders led by Raila Odinga and Moses Wetangula on April 25 together during protests outside the offices of the IEBC at Anniversary Towers.
Other demonstrations followed at IEBC's regional offices but were condemned by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
