Three more people have been found alive under the rubble of the building that collapsed in Huruma, Nairobi, killing at least 36.

The man and two women were pulled out two hours after a woman who had

since the building crumbled on Friday night.

A rescue team

took approximately four hours to pull out the woman who was found at 11.28 am.

She received oxygen and had been connected to an intravenous drip by doctors.

Pius Masai, Kenya National Disaster Operation Centre manager, said she was weak but had no visible physical injuries.

"The rescuers took long to pull her out because of the delicate situation. She had been trapped under a chair in the collapsed building for more than 144 hours," said Masai.

"Those who have been pulled out a few minutes have also been rushed to hospital for specialised treatment."

Seven-month old Dealeryn Saisi was from the rubble, four days after the building collapsed.

Search and rescue operations are ongoing but teams complained of lack of sufficient materials and equipment.

The building collapsed after a heavy downpour.

The Interior ministry said it had been built close to a river and earmarked for demolition, but local authorities had not acted on the order.
