Muslims clerics, scholars urged to preach peace

Muslim clerics and scholars must unite in the war against extremism, youth radicalisation and terrorism, Muslim preachers and scholars have said.

The Sufi Supreme Council of Kenya said the war on terror will not be won with physical weapons. “Since we introduced initiatives to counter radicalization in Northeastern and Coast, we have seen peace improve,” Sufi Supreme Council chair Sheikh Abdulkadir Alahdal said.
