Parents from terror-prone Basuba, Lamu East, want the state to increase security as schools to reopen next week.

Five schools in Basuba have remained closed for two years, owing to frequent attacks by al Shabaab. They are Basuba, Milimani, Mangai, Mararani and Kiangwe primary schools. In February, the county transferred pupils to a safe centre.
