Harlequins host Kabras Sugar to Kenya Cup semis

The stage is all set for the Kenya cup semi finals set for tomorrow at RFUEA and Impala grounds.

Kenya Harlequins who finished second from the group stage matches will host last year finalist Kabras Sugar.

Kabras eased to the last four after beating Nakuru 16-15 last weekend.

Quins have released their lineup with Patrice Agunda and Kevin Keegan making a comeback in the squad. The two were rested for the match against Homeboyz two weeks ago. Agunda will partner David Ambunya in midfield while Keegan starts at fullback.

Ronald Musajja who was rested against Homeboyz two weeks as well starts at number eight while Felix Ayange starts on the bench as well as Dennis Muhanji.

Quins’ tight five of Joseph Kangethe, Frank Kalwale, Ayub Kimutai, James Kangethe and Tony Mutai remain unchanged as well as the half backs comprising of Lyle Asiligwa and Eden Agero.

Hosea Odhiambo will start at left wing back while William Mawira will start on the right. Meanwhile Kabras Sugar are expected to retain the same side that beat Nakuru last weekend with Edwin Achayo starting at scrum half while Jone Vavuso will slot in at number ten.

Fabian Olando who had a good game against Nakuru will once again partner Nick Barasa in midfield while John Kubu will start at fullback.

Meanwhile Impala RFC head coach Fred Ollows has made five changes to the side that beat Strathmore Leos two weeks ago for this weekend Kenya Cup semi final match against KCB.

Ollows has made one change to his front five with Simon Muniafu replacing Erick Kerre at number five.

Another change will see Samson Onsomu partnering Nato Simiyu at half back while Ian Minjire starts at left wing back. Vincent Mose will start at right wing back with George Akowa starting at fullback. Samuel Motari and Mohammed Omollo will start from the bench.
