3,200 Land in acres where Sh21bn wind energy project will be put up

The Sh21 billion Lamu wind energy project will begin in a year. The Kenwind energy project was proposed in 2011. It will be put up on 3,200 acres to generate 90MW of power. Director Susan Nandwa yesterday told the Star they expect to begin in May 2017.
