Otundo best shot at Toyota Kenya Mini Bisley shoot

Sanford Otundo of the General Service Unit emerged the overall winner as the four-day Toyota Kenya Mini Bisley Shooting Sports finals concluded in Nanyuki, Laikipia County over the weekend.

The full-bore shooting title was closely contested in the first three days among 10 frontrunners, especially in the short range shoots. However, Otundo, who raked in 502.034 points sparkled in his specialty—long range (800m and 900m)—where he scored 72.008 out of 75.

Defence Forces Rifle Association’s Paul Munene finished a distance second on 486.024 points, 16.010 behind Otundo. Kakamega County commander John Ihugo sealed the podium spots in the SX class (experts’ category) with 484.030 points.

Sarah Sintoi posted impressive score in Tyro rank. The GSU officer deposited 465.023 points to lead the class.

Sammy Lentiyoo of Anti-Stock was second with 450.013 while GSU’s Grace Rantille finished third.
