Plans are ongoing to recruit contestants from all seven subcounties to compete for Miss Tourism Kilifi. Mseto Africa, the event’s organisers, yesterday said everything is in place for today’s subcounty auditions. The best three contestants will go to boot camp from Tuesday to Friday.

Anthony Kadenge, the coordinator of Mseto Africa, said registration has already taken place for the main contest, which will be on April 30 at the Eden rock Hotel.

The contestants are aged 21 to 24. They must have completed form four and be single, without any children. Speaking to the Star in Malindi, Kadenge said all the contestants must have attained C plain in the KCSE exam.
