Some 4,800 women from Mavoko subcounty have been trained on good hygiene and caring for their babies.
The two-month training was done at Athi River Health Centre. Speaking on Tuesday, acting manager Shamis Ahmed said the drive was sponsored by Reckitt Benckiser East Africa Ltd under its Dettol New Mums’ Programme.
