Residents of Sigomere ward in Siaya county protested against the poor state of the Sigomere-Asango-Nzoia road yesterday. Carrying twigs and placards, they accused the Kenya Rural Roads Authority of doing shoddy work. Accompanied by area MCA Andrew Omwende, the residents planted banana and sugarcane stems on the road . They gave Kera a week to redo the work.
